Introduction

Profit Instruments is about creating small niche websites that are focused around Product Name Keywords(PNK). The beauty of the system is that it takes very little time to set up and utilizes free traffic methods to quickly push your website to the top of Google search rankings. From there, it is about optimization and raking in profits as you let the website go on auto pilot. I have purchased the system and have used it for about a month now following through the steps outlined in the system. My aim now is to provide you a comprehensive review of this system so you can decide if it is for you.

Who is Ritoban Chakrabarti?

Ritoban C is a full time Internet Marketer that started with humble beginnings in India. Due to his parent’s guidance, he was a diligent student and did well in his studies. A Computer Science graduate from UIET in Chandigarh, he started his Internet Marketing career doing freelance work developing websites for others. The first product he marketed was on a site he created on Joomla(a popular open source Content Management System). Profit Instrument Content

The course consists of a total of 7 modules which contain PDFs, instructional videos and assignment sheets. I will through each module in more detail in a moment but first, I made a video that lets you have a look into my membership account so you have an idea of what you get. It also ensures that you know I actually have purchased a copy and that you will get an honest review.

Module 1: Introduction

This module gives an overview of what is going to be taught and how to use the course. Basically it is recommended that you read the PDFs first, watch the accompanying videos and then complete the assignments given. Product Name Keywords(PNK) are explained and the whole rationale behind basing websites around PNKs are covered here. For anyone who is new to PNKs, Ritoban does a good job of breaking down the whole concept and makes good use of diagrams and bullet points to drive his point. An over-the-shoulder video is provided where you follow Ritoban as he goes through a complete case study from start to end.

Module 2: Selection

This module is all about how to select a profitable product to base your Profit Instrument website around. Things covered are selection sources, selection criteria and finding supporting keywords. Accompanying videos provide a walk-through of the entire selection process for various sources. Ritoban has also devised a handy formula which allows you to assess a product market competitiveness in Google. While the formula is not fool-proof, it does give a good indicator of whether you’re headed in the right direction. There’s also something about having hard numbers that gives you the kind of assurance you need when selecting a product. This is a great tool for inexperienced newbies and a good addition for advanced marketers as well.

Module 3: Creation

After selecting a profitable product, you dive right into website creation in this module. It covers domain name selection, hosting accounts, setting up your wordpress site and adding content. You will learn how to add plug-ins for your wordpress site, add widgets and the necessary pages. Ritoban also guides you on how to craft your posts (4 in total) and several approaches you can take. This is one of the larger modules and might seem a bit overwhelming especially to newbies, but it is handled well by provided good instructional videos for every step of the process. The Profit Instrument support crew is also very responsive in answering any technical questions you might have. I contacted them on two occasions regarding questions about this module and they were answered promptly within 24 hours each time. By the end of this module, you will have created almost everything you need in terms of content for your site. This is quite amazing considering you could have this done in a week or less and don’t need to bother with it again. It really is set and forget.

Module 4: Promotion

This module covers various techniques you can use to help your site rise quickly in Google search rankings. Unless you have a product that requires little or no promotion (yes, it is possible and this is covered in Module 2), you will at least wanted to use Ritoban’s 2 day strategy to boost your site into the top 10 on Google. In my personal experience, this required a little longer than 2 days because it involved(among other things) directory submissions which can be a laborious process especially the first time when you need to sign up for accounts. However, after you’ve done this the first time, it gets faster. On the flip side, although you CAN do it in less than a day, there are valid reasons why you might not want to because sites than rise too fast in the rankings look suspicious to Google and you might get penalized for it. Once you’ve gone through this process with a couple of sites and made a few bucks, you can also consider automating some of the promotion strategies with paid tools Ritoban recommends. Just a note that I did it all manually and still managed to get one of my sites in the top 15 on Google. Aside from the 2 day strategy, Ritoban lists many other strategies you can use to promote your product. None of them are a must, but I thought it was good to have. In fact, I used several of them because my sites needed the extra boost in rankings.

Module 5: Optimization

Once you start getting good traffic and regular sales from your site then it’s time to optimize it to achieve even higher conversions. This module teaches you how to test and tweak your site one element at a time. It covers:

• themes
• sidebars
• content
• approach style
• opt-in box
• banners
• exit pop up
• similar look designs

As with all modules, videos are provided to give a clearer illustration of each of the techniques taught.

Module 6: Expansion

This module has to do with scaling up your Profit Instrument site. The key here is to get more targeted traffic to your website which in turn leads to even higher conversions. So the objective here to two fold: get more visitors AND increase your conversions. The module covers Pay Per Click(PPC), Pay Per View(PPV), Email Marketing, and several other methods. Some of these strategies are paid methods, but by this stage, you should be getting enough profits to be able to reinvest some of that into the strategies listed here.

Module 7: Domination

This is really a bonus module that show you how to use the strategies you’ve learnt to piggy back product launches. This is of course very timing dependant and this module shows you how to make sure you have your sites well positioned so that by the time a product launch reaches it’s peak, you are ready to start raking in profits. This method can be applied to any niche you want. Personally I haven’t reached this stage because I’m still making sure that I’m very familiar with the previous modules and have a few more sites under my belt. Having said that, Ritoban gives practical guidance and shows clearly how this methods can work. I’m quite eager to try this out and see how it turns out.

What’s Awesome About This System:

• newbie friendly. You don’t need to know any technical skills because he walks you through every step
• you only write content once (in the Creation step)
• no mailing list required! (of course, nothing is stopping you from adding this)
• scalable. This is easily replicated over different niches.
• double your money back guarantee. Ritoban is so confident of his product that after 90 days, if you can show him his system doesn’t work for you, he’ll give you double your money back (first time I’ve seen something like this).

What’s Not So Awesome About This System:

• I wasn’t into the upsell after I bought the initial product because it made it seem like the original product was incomplete (he upsells two versions of a WordPress plug-in that helps with the Creation and Promotion process as well as some webinars for each module). I didn’t buy them and you definitely should not feel obligated to buy it. Of course some will want the benefit of webinars for some added guidance as well as to fast track their progress, but the Profit Instruments system is quite complete in itself in my opinion.
• there were some inconsistencies with the PDF and videos in terms of when to do which tasks. The support people are quite responsive though, and do a good job of answering any questions you might have. Like I mentioned before, I did contact them on a few occasions and was quite satisfied.

My Results:

So far I’ve used this system on two products. One in the Pet niche and another in the Electronic Accessories niche. At the time of this writing the Pet niche site is on page 3 of Google and the other is holding at 11th spot(sometimes it gets in the top 10). Does the system work? Most definitely.

There are many factors as to why I haven’t been able to get my sites into the top 10 yet but even so, seeing my sites go from zero to top 30 on Google in the space of a month is quite encouraging. I’d also like to mention that though the main site is not ranked in the top 10 on Google, my related videos which in turn point to my site appear on the first page.

On the day of this writing, I’m happy to say that I’ve earned my first commission! I have previously tried several other systems claiming to help you make money fast but so far this is the only system to have actually come close. It was only $1 but it proves that with a little more work, I can make this profitable. Why do I say this? Have a look at my statistics:

According to this, roughly 1% of my visitors are being converted. That’s actually not bad considering the time I put into of content and promotion. Since I have barely hit 100 visitors, my next goals are obviously to increase traffic and optimize my site for greater conversions. Both are very obtainable goals in my opinion.

Who Is It For:

As with all products, the Profit Instruments course will not suit everyone. I would say that if you belong to any of these following categories, I would recommend this to you:

• if you’re just starting in Internet Marketing and don’t have a product to promote, this would be great for you
• if you have some experience (even a little bit) and have set up a blog or two before, then this course will DEFINITELY fit you and you should be able to quickly use the material in this course to kick off your passive income stream
• if you need a step by step system to make money online easily, then this is one of the best methods I know of

Who Is It NOT For:

• if you’re not able to spend some time going through the modules and assignments or if you’re already using 100 other different products, then obviously this is not for you
• if you’re looking to earn back your investment in a few days from purchase then I wouldn’t advise this course because it will take a while for your sites to gain some traction in Google
• if you’re down to your last few hundred dollars, stay away from this system because most affiliate program take 30-60 days to pay out commissions.

Final Thoughts

I have used several other money making systems before and most were scams and didn’t live up to their promise of generating income easily or quickly. This is by far one of the easiest systems to implement that I’ve come across. I have just started making money with this system and feel confident that my sites will generate more money as I get better at using the techniques taught in the course. This is why I feel comfortable recommending this product to you. You won’t be able to purchase Profit Instruments because doors are closed.
