How To Take Your Affiliate Sites To The Next Level With Social Media

This is the first of a 3 part series where I interview 3 successful affiliate marketer and get them to reveal their methods and strategies. In this interview, I have with me James Pruitt, someone who is sort of a legend over at Affilorama forums. He has the highest number of posts by far (even more than the moderators!) and when he talks about his experience in building and leveraging relationships in affiliate marketing, he speaks from experience.

So anyway, here’s a quick run down of some of the points covered in the interview:

  • how James started out in affiliate marketing
  • how you can easily earn money while working on your affiliate sites
  • why freelancing might not be something you want to do long term
  • the importance of building up your trust factor
  • why it is important to focus on only a number of sites when just starting out
  • how to target your SEO efforts for maximum effect
  • James’ highest converting pages for his sites
  • an important principle to have when doing your product reviews
  • James’ method of creating ‘hybrid’ affiliate sites
  • how to build a social traffic funnel to your money pages or squeeze page
  • why blog posts are better for encouraging interaction with readers
  • the one crucial thing people often miss when writing their articles
  • two critical resources for anyone who wants to practice good SEO principles
  • why you should optimize for other search engines in addition to Google
  • the importance of building sites for people, not search engines
  • why you should never be afraid to give out your best stuff to people
  • the Authority myth
  • how you could be sabotaging yourself by setting yourself up as an expert
  • the proper way to utilize forums
  • when is the right time to create products

The interview also comes with an transcript and action plan worksheet as well. You can grab it through the link below:

AffiloJetpack Review

Affilojetpack ReviewOk, so I know that I said earlier that I probably wouldn’t be able to afford this particular product. But when I saw the price I put on this thing, I caved (no Starcraft 2 for me then ;) ). It’s $497! (I thought it would be at least $1000 or more!) So I went ahead and checked it out for myself. After all, I could always refund it if it sucked right?

First impression?

This product rocks! It knocks the pants off any other turnkey product I’ve seen (yea, I’m talking about those cheapo PLR rehashed junk you often see out there) and I fully recommend it. I haven’t had time to do a full review on it (though I intend to) but what I did was hurriedly put together a 13-minute video to cover the most important aspects of the product to help you decide whether this is for you. It’s a rush job but because it’s going to be taken off the shelf on Sunday, I felt I just HAD to get this to you so that you don’t miss out.

Once again, I just want to say that I bought this at full price and think it’s an awesome product well worth the money. Oh, here’s something I didn’t mention in the video, Mark ALSO offers to give you $100 bucks of his own money if you use his system and still fail to earn money (you’re going to have to show it to him of course). Talk about being confident huh? If you’re one of the following I think AffiloJetpack is going to be a good fit for you:

  • you’re an affiliate marketer looking to take your marketing to the next level using a well laid out plan to get email subscribers and rake in money using quality autoresponder sequence over a course of 1 year then you should definitely check this out
  • if you are on the fence about going into affiliate marketing because of all the uncertainty and risk factor, this could well be the product that makes the difference for you. If takes away the uncertainty in choosing a niche (top problem for newbies) and gives you training to build your site and provides you quality content for your promotional campaign. All I can say is that I wish I had something like this starting out because it would have saved me A LOT of time and money.

Oh, and don’t bother with this product if you one of the following:

  • looking for a magic solution that will get you out of debt and skyrocket your income at a push of a button.
  • not able to spend at least an hour on building your AffiloJetpack site each day (if you want results fast).
  • down to your last 500 bucks. You will still need to invest in a good email software like Aweber, GetResponse or Mailpush if you haven’t any ($1 trail for most and then about $17 per month after), and you’re going to be buying domain names for your sites (roughly $10 a year)

If you haven’t watched the video, do watch it because I don’t think you can get the insider’s look I provide anywhere else. If you want to make a well-informed decision then you need to watch the video.

AffiloJetpack Launch Countdown – updated

Affilojetpack Review

Update: Things are getting hot on this launch with bit hitters like Eben Pagen promoting this launch. The results of the draw for a free AffiloJetpack has been done and sad to say I didn’t get it. It doesn’t look like I’ll have the finances to try this product out so probably I won’t be able to review it. If you do purchase it (it’s available tomorrow) do let me know how it turned out for you, I’d love to know. In the meantime, if you haven’t read Mark’s two report I strongly encourage you to read them because the the information he provides in there is good stuff.

AffiloJetpack Report – How To Earn 10k A Month

Hi everyone, previously I wrote a review on Affilorama 2010 Premium Edition. The same guys are launching a new product soon called AffiloJetpack and I thought I’d give you a heads up about it. The reason I’m interested in this product is because it bears quite a lot of similarity with Profit Instruments which I found to be a solid product. There are some key differences but the concept of creating niche websites based on affiliate products is the same.

One marked difference between the two products is that AffiloJetpack is more like a ready made affiliate package in itself so you hardly need to set up your site. Product selection has largely been done for you and you just need to select 5 out of 10 niche product prepared for you. For each of these niches, there are also 12 months worth of autoresponder emails that come with it (that’s autopilot for you right there). Here’s a list of some of the features:

  • A choice of 5 out of 10 niches
  • 80 top-quality newsletters per niche, organized into a 1-year followup sequence.
  • 3 ebooks per niche that users can give away as sign-up bribes, or use as bonuses.
  • custom-created WordPress theme
  • and more!

The way I see it, most of the work will be spent generating traffic for your site. Other than that, AffiloJetpack really cuts down a lot of the work involved in niche site creation. It sounds like a great product to get newbies started out.

Profit Instruments did offer something similar a few weeks in the training where personal coaching and a existing Profit Instrument site was part of the deal. The only thing it cost a whooping $2000 to join that program. I obviously gave that a pass because I didn’t have anywhere near that amount of money to spend and wouldn’t even if I did because I was doing ok and didn’t need the extra help.

It would be interesting to see what is the price point for the AffiloJetpack. From the launch page, it looks like it will be priced at $500 which I think is reasonable considering what you get. But I’m still not sure whether I’ll be getting it (I might just for the sake of a review). There is a going to be a giveaway a few days before the launch and I’m hoping I’ll be one of the fortunate ones. :)

If you’re interested in the product, you should check it the launch page here

and post a comment. There’s random giveaways each week where a commenter will be chosen at random to receive a prize. This week they are giving away a wii console!

Even if you’re not interested in buying, you should at least sign up to receive two free reports prepared for Mark Ling. You can do so here (affiliate link).

Affilorama Premium 2010 Edition Review

Introduction

I first came to know about Affilorama through my use of Traffic Travis (I’ll be posting a review of this awesome tool soon). Affilorama is a website designed by the same developers(Mark Ling and team) specifically for people new to Affiliate Marketing. Many have touted affiliate marketing as one of the easiest methods of making money online but the truth is, that provided you have had previous experience in marketing along with at least some technical inclination, it can be a steep learning curve.

Before I came across Affilorama, I had to scour forums and Wikipedia to find out more on Internet Marketing and about the ins and outs of the trade. There is a lot of free content out there if you know where to look, but Affilorama makes it convenient for the budding Internet Marketer by having all the information you need conveniently in one location. The best part? It’s FREE.

By signing up for a free Affilorama membership, you get access to has over 70 hours of video, including lessons, tips and interviews with leading names in the affiliate and online marketing industry. It also has a comprehensive forum which is moderated by real affiliate experts who can answer your questions and give you advice.

You can check out their free membership here:

http://www.joshuasiaw.com/blog/visit/affiloramafreemembership/ (affiliate link).

For the more advanced marketer, Affilorama also offers Premium membership which is a monthly subscription providing members with a monthly affiliate marketing web-magazine, a suite of pro-level internet marketing tools and web hosting. I got an upsell for this package when I signed on for the free membership so I thought I’d give it a go and see what was offered (there’s currently a 7-day trial for $1 that’s available. The normal rate is $67 dollars a month).

For this review, I’ll provide several demo videos of features found in the members area as well as my thoughts on who will benefit most from using this product.
